Our Keto Turkey Casserole is a rich, tasty creamy dish packed with low carb vegetables, juicy turkey breast and topped with flavoursome parmesan cheese cream sauce. Great for family dinners and any special occasion, this casserole makes a delicious low-carb meal that’s super easy to prepare. It is also a versatile recipe as you can replace turkey meat with chicken.

  • 450 g turkey breast cut into strips
  • 225 g white button mushrooms diced
  • 225 g broccoli florets diced finely
  • ½ small white onion diced finely
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 200 g gouda cheese grated

For the Sauce

  • 30 g unsalted butter
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 300 ml double cream (heavy cream)
  • 3 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • salt and pepper to season


  • In a nonstick frying pan (skillet) over medium heat warm the olive oil and start cooking the diced onion, broccoli florets and mushrooms. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and turkey breast pieces. Cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
  • Remove the turkey mixture with veggies and transfer to a baking casserole pan.
  • In the same pan (skillet) warm the butter and stir in the sour cream, heavy cream and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Mix until everything is combined and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Pour the sauce on top of the turkey and veggie mixture and sprinkle with grated gouda cheese on top.
  • Bake in an already heated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes.
  • Just right before serving, let the casserole cool down a bit and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
