Keto Sweet and Sour Prawn Noodles
This simple prawn stir fry uses sliced cabbage in place of carb heavy noodles and is coated in a keto friendly sweet and sour sauce.

Ingredients
For the Sweet and Sour Sauce
- 2 tbsp tamari sauce
- 1 tsp erythritol
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp tomato puree
- 1 tbsp lime juice
For the Noodles
- 175 g raw king prawns
- 4 tenderstem broccoli spears tough ends removed
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander (cilantro)
- ¼ white cabbage sliced into 1 cm strips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2.5 cm fresh ginger grated
- 1 large spring onion (green onion) sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- To prepare the sweet and sour sauce, add all the ingredients to a small pan over a low/medium heat and bring to a gentle boil. Stir well to combine and simmer until you have a thick syrupy consistency. Set aside.
- Add the broccoli to a pan of boiling water and simmer for a minute or two until just tender. Drain and run immediately under cold water then set aside.
- Melt the coconut oil in a large frying pan (skillet) or wok over a low/medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger and sweat gently until tender.
- Add the sliced cabbage and cook for 2-3 minutes until just tender.
- Add the prawns and broccoli to the pan and cook until the prawns are hot through and have turned pink.
- Add the sweet and sour sauce and stir well, coating everything in the sauce.
- Remove from the heat and stir through the fresh coriander.
- Scatter with the spring onions and sesame seeds to serve.
