Buttery Green Beans
This generous, buttery portion of green beans is a great accompaniment to just about any keto main meal. Beans are usually available all year round at your local grocery or supermarket. They're also moderate in net carbs due to their fibre content, so can be worked into most keto diets. It's a simple and quick side dish, ready in under 10 minutes.
- 200 g green beans
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- salt and pepper to season
- Bring a pot of water to the boil. While waiting for the water to come to the boil, prepare the green beans by chopping off the tops and bottoms. Add to the water and allow to cook for 6 minutes.
- Once cooked, drain the green beans and put them back into the saucepan. Add the butter and season to taste.
