Here we have a simple classic with an avocado healthy fat bonus to keep your insulin levels stable and your energy levels high.
This recipe works really well with poached or scrambled eggs too.
We all love bacon and eggs, tasty, traditional, and heartwarming ingredients that are low in net carbs.  In fact, they have become synonymous with a Keto diet. Quality does matter, avoid barn or cage eggs and bacon cured in sugar, opting for grass-fed where possible. We also suggest eating bacon along with healthy greens and fats.

  • 1 avocado halved and pitted
  • 3 bacon thick slices
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp spinach leaves
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to season


  • basil leaves to garnish


  • Cook the bacon in a pan until crisp.
  • Place the avocado halves on a baking tray with cherry tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Grill for 5-8 minutes.
  • Fry eggs until the yolk is hard, approximately 5 minutes on a medium heat.
  • Serve and garnish with leaves.
